FarmVille Changing Cows Hint

People are big on the aesthetics of their farms. They take pride in the way they decorate, beautify and embellish their ornaments whether they are lining up their animals in neat rows or building elaborate shrines with flowers and festive statues. It's all part of the delight of FarmVille farming.

I've noticed playing the game and checking out heaps of other people's farms that colour and order seems to be more preferred as does themes of things. People have a range of eclectic adornments such as cow print silos, barns and dairy sheds, cow print balloons and milk canisters or Christmas themes, Halloween, Valentines and St Patrick's Day themes going. Some players have it all higgledy piggledy and just thrown anywhere on their farm but the majority have a certain design or arrangement going on.

Having a layout of particular animals can make an animal pen look really unique. Various colour chickens for example and brown and pink cows. It mostly looks effective if you can have the same number of brown to pink though. Now you can't buy or gift pink or straight out brown cows you can adopt them from neighbours if they find one wandering on their farm and you have to be quick. It seems that brown is a lot more popular than pink, at least to me anyway so a hint to change a brown cow to a pink cow is this; when you get a brown cow adoption opportunity and you click that you want to adopt it, your farm page will load and a message box will pop up asking you to accept the brown cow. If you have 5 brown cows already and 4 pink and you would like one more pink to complete your decorative ensemble then look up in your browser window and you will see its says Acow_brown & timestamp. Change the brown part to pink (or vice versa). The page will re load and your message box will pop up again this time with a pink cow asking you to accept it. Hit accept and that's it. Pink cow instead.

Can you tell me how long the link is good, when you save to trade? someone told me 24 hours, but it may be longer than that.
