People love free stuff. Getting items for nothing on FarmVille can be a huge way to get ahead because you can use FarmVille pieces by selling or harvesting them without coughing up a cent.
You can be notified on your news feeds about what free articles are available to you as well as on your neighbours profile pages. These come in a variety of awards from adopting animals, to bonus awards, celebratory gifts and even by fertilising a neighbour's farm. Your neighbours can earn you a lot while they go about their daily farming business just like you do.
